Program Overview

Welcome & Opening Session

Marianne Thellersen, Senior Vice President for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at DTU, Jasmina Pless, Head of Entrepreneurship at The Danish Chamber of Commerce, and Frederik Østergaard Neble, former CEO of the startup Obital, acquired by GN Group, will open DTU Startup Day 2021.

Workshop: Who are you leaving behind?

Learn and explore how inclusion can be an overlooked innovation and market opportunity for your startup. Get your hands on a tool that can enhance the design and market scale of your solution, creating sustainable value for your business and society as a whole.

The workshop is facilitated by Technology Leaving no one Behind, powered by DTU Skylab, enabled through partnership with The Bevica Foundation, Disabled People's Organizations Denmark and DTU Management.

Danish Tech Challenge: Meet the startups from Denmark's leading hardware accelerator

Danish Tech Challenge is Denmark's first and only accelerator programme which focuses exclusively on industrial companies that work with the development of new, physical products. Danish Tech Challenge is a growth programme where technology-intensive hardware startups can accelerate the development of their startup and at the same time participate in a competition to win the Danish Industry Foundation Entrepreneurship Award of DKK 500,000. Meet the 20 startups from this year's batch at DTU Startup Day.

Panel Session Behind Closed Doors: the entrepreneur-investor conversation exposed

The startup Coastgrass in conversation with Louise Lachmann and Maria Hjorth from VÅR Ventures. Behind the scenes experience with a debrief on the conversation, and key words of wisdom for engaging in your next fundraising.
